Planning Committee volunteers are needed for a possible Hawaiian Band Festival Trip, during Spring Break 2010. We need parents to help in the planning process this year for a 4-5 day trip next year: Also, if you’ve been to Hawaii before please provide input on places to eat, sights to see, things to do, etc. Even though many planning details are island-dependent, we want to compile a list now of parents interested in being on the Planning Committee, so we can hit the ground running as soon as we have more information about which island will be hosting this Hawaiian Band Festival.

Canceled for Tuesday and Wednesday Spring concerts
Pre-Concert Lasagna Dinners are canceled next Tuesday and Wednesday. We didn’t receive enough advance reservations to break even on this fundraiser. Thank you very much to those who made reservations! We really appreciate your support and regret any inconvenience.
I’m happy to say that we’ll still be selling desserts before and after the Concerts both nights next week, in the lobby outside the Theater. We’d appreciate anyone that would like to donate a dessert. If you are able to help out, please call Cara Moore at 272-3300. Thank you very much to those who have already donated desserts!
Friday, March 27th: High School Band Festival at Stadium, which is being held during the school day. There will be a morning session performance and an afternoon session performance – both in the Auditorium.
Much parental/adult shift-work help is needed, starting at 8 am, for the following:
a. Working the Registration Desk,
b. Being gym and festival room monitors: to guard musician valuables during performances and to keep order,
c. Other tasks may be needed, which will be determined before this event.
When responding, please state your preferred shift duties and time(s) you are available.

lasagna - yummy - enjoy - relax
Before each band concert that is given at Stadium, we have a Lasagna Dinner in the cafeteria – for several reasons:
1) a fund raiser for Stadium Band Boosters
2) to provide a hassle-free meal for the busy families trying to rush between work school, sports, and the concert; and
3) for FUN!
The price of the dinner is $8, which includes Lasagna, Caesar Salad, Bread, and Beverage. The Lasagna is being provided by Mercato Italiano. There will also be desserts available for purchase both at the dinner and after the concert. Checks should be made out to “Stadium Band Boosters”. Reservations and ticket money need to be turned in to Mr. Mulkins by Friday, March 13th, as we need to give Mercato’s an accurate head count. Please indicate which date you will be attending the dinner, Tuesday March 17th or Wednesday march 18th. Your ticket will be provided to you at the door. You don’t want to miss this tasty event!
Please let me know if you can volunteer to serve or donate a dessert.
If you have any questions, you can call me at 272-3300 or email me at caralmoore@hotmail.com.
THANKS!!
Cara Moore
P.S. The dinner begins at 6pm!!
Saturday, March 7th: Chaperones are needed for the Central Band Festival that is being held in Ellensburg this year. Adults are needed to be on the bus that David isn’t riding or to drive over to help with chaperone duties in Ellensburg. The present plan is to leave from Stadium at 6:30 am.
