David Mulkins – This is Mr. Mulkins’ eleventh year teaching band. This will be his eighth year at Stadium High School. For the past seven years the students and Mr. Mulkins have been working to make the Stadium band program one of the best in the state. Stadium Bands, under his direction, have routinely received superior ratings. Stadium bands have also traveled to many exciting places, including Italy, England, Scotland, Washington D.C., New Orleans and many other exciting places. The Stadium Jazz and Concert Bands have won numerous awards and honors. Most recently the Stadium Concert Band was awarded the Band of Distinction award at the Vancouver British Columbia Kiwanis Music Festival. Mr. Mulkins is a graduate from the University of Puget Sound with a Masters in Music Education. Recently Mr. Mulkins was chosen as the Commencement Bay Region Music Educator of the Year and the Daffodil Educator of the Year.
